On January 26, 2017, Friends of Mystery welcomes Nick Slosser for Bloody Thursday.
NICK SLOSSER is a private investigator, working primarily in juvenile defense investigation. Before that, Nick worked for ten years at Murder by the Book until the bookstore closed in 2014. His stories have appeared in Blood & Tacos, Shotgun Honey, and The Third Flatiron. His first book, THE CIPHER, features a Bletchley Park codebreaker and takes place in Portland, Oregon, where Nick now lives with his wife and daughter.
Bloody Thursday is open to the public and takes place at The Old Church. The event begins with a reception (with cash wine bar) at 7:00pm, followed by Nick’s presentation at 7:30pm. NOTE: Bloody Thursdays take place on the fourth Thursday of the month (except November when, because of Thanksgiving, we go a week earlier).
